Planning and Business Section

The section  perform the following activities:-

  1. prepare periodic implementation reports;
  2. Coordinate formulation and preparation of annual plans, business plans medium term strategic plans and budget;
  3. Conduct monitoring and evaluation of Agency’s projects;
  4. Conduct marketing of the Agency’s products and arrange for exhibitions;
  5. Provide technical guidance and support for institutionalization of Strategic Planning and Budgeting process;
  6. Participate in analysis of outsourcing of non-core functions (Private Sector Participation);
  7. Monitor implementation of Annual Plans, Business Plans and Medium Term Strategic Plans;
  8. Prepare periodic performance reports;
  9. Collect, study and analyze statistics needed in the formulation and implementation of plans and budgetary proposals;
  10. Participate in preparing plans, programs and budgetary activities of the Agency   and establishment of performance targets and indicators;
  11. Provide technical support including institutionalization of M&E process within the  Agency;
  12. Undertake research and impact studies of plans, projects and programs undertaken by the Agency;
  13. Undertake service delivery surveys to collect stakeholders’/ clients’ views on services rendered by the Agency; and
  14. Coordinate mid-year and annual performance reviews.

   The section is led by a Manager.
